Hi, Just reminiscing about our camp days in the 60´s-70 at the Y and saw that Bob had passed. Cannell family here fondly remembers him as a great director of the camp, friend to all and an artist. Our mother was the camp nurse and he was very supportive in helping her in her duties and as a mentor. Hugs to the family. Gary, Ron and Joyce

Bob was a true servant leader who exemplified the Mission and core values of the Y. While our careers at the Y did not cross paths, I was later introduced to Bob when he became the Director of Parks and Recreation in South Orange and I the Executive Director at the South Mountain Y. Sue and I both have such fond memories of the fall get together 's .I loved uncle Bob's stories around the camp fire and his skill or not so skill in making Jiffy Pop Pop corn. We were all so lucky to have such a wonderful man in our lives. Rest in peace.
