Not sure what to say?

I never met him. He was sweet on FB. His birthday one day before mine. Bob enjoy in Heaven RR

miss u bob, you were a great friend!!!

I call Bob at least once a year since I moved to CA. I was suprised to read did not survive an auto accident. We had fun in the 80's when Bob was the DJ. He really knew how to liven up a room! Great guy always full of laughter. I'm really going to miss his laughter and friendship! Blessing to him and his family. He will be missed.
I know I will miss him.

I was saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I recall sharing knowledge and experience on The Mountain before WSUS moved down into town and how thrilled Bob was that he would actually have an office! Bob was ever the consummate professional whether as newsman, jock, or salesman. I regret not keeping in touch after I moved on to other radio adventures. A great loss.

I hadn't seen Bob in close to forty years, but it wrenched my heart to learn of his passing. Bob was a friend and colleague back in the earliest '70s at WSUS — a great guy as well as a born disk jockey, and a constant source of good advice and collaboration. Glad to see so many old friends (some of whom I knew way back when) come together here. In a the great tradition of radio, a hearty shout-out to all of them.

He was Bob O'Brien when he played the music, when the music stopped, he was Robert F O'Brien With The News! Bob and I worked together at WSUS when the station had just come on the air I can still see him and still hear him - he gave it everything he had every time the mike was on - he was full of energy and full of fun and a danger to go drinking with - but most of all he was a good guy.

I think it was his first gig as a D.J.
at WLVP-FM (WSUS Franklin,N.J.)
We were just barely out of our teens.
There were two O'Briens there. I was
one, but Bob, the other, was the star.
He was a natural. He did his show, and
sales, and commercials, and mc'd performances
by local country and western music groups.
Even big time artists from the Nashville circuit
would sometimes stop by to say "Hi" when they were in
the neighborhood.
Over...

My dad and Bob were friends from way back. I got to know him from dj biz. When my father passed away he offered gracious words of comfort and sympathy. please accept my condolances for your loss.

I know it is a little late but I would like to thank you for the quality time you spent with my mom, Jake and Zach, their lives are richer for it.
