Coach O´Connor taught so many of us to drive when he taught driver´s Ed at MHS. Talk about a teacher having a long lasting impact on our lives. I still think of him every time I turn to look over my shoulder to back up regardless of the new technology. My family says "why do you do that!!?" And I say " because Coach O´Connor taught me too. My sympathy to Coach's family. He was the best. Tough exterior with the biggest heart. I enjoyed drivers ed with him. I drove him around to do his errands. I enjoyed making him laugh too! He was my favorite. Rest in peace, Coach. I won't forget you.

A wonderful man and coach at Madison High School. I had him for Phys Ed and always treated the students with redo and encouragement. Better for having known him.
