To the O'Leary Family:
You don't know me and Joan, you would have to have a fantastic memory to remember! I worked at IHA in the 80's and when I started, Bob was the President. I didn't know him well, but I remember him well. Something he said got a laugh from a co-worker and I when we were having a hallway conversation. The committee of the Class of 1961 New Bedford High School sends its deepest sympathy to the O'Leary family. Bob was a well liked memeber of our class and we will miss him very much.

O'Leary Family,
Please know that our thoughts, our prayers and our love surround you.
I know what an amazing man Rob was not by working with him or even having the honor of meeting him in person but from sharing his life through his children. I feel blessed to have shared in his strength and faith throughout his illness. Kelly, your courage and deep faith has been an inspiration to all of us who have the experience of losing a father ahead of us. We love you! Carrie, Rob, Robbie,...

Joan and girls, as well as Richie: I truly am sorry about the tremendous loss you must be feeling. Though you know he was and still is a strong man of faith (we often talked about prayer for one another and the importance of God in our lives), I know he will be missed a lot. I like to view transitions like this as "promotions" to Heaven where you will all be reunited.

Rob was--and I like to think still is with a special Heavenly assignment--a remarkable leader and I count it a...

Joany and Shannon:
It was great seeing you, I hope you the best and remember that you and your husband and dad will always have a very special place in my heart. I love you guys.

Dear Joanie and Family,

Rob has always been a leader of leaders. His integrity is the example to be followed. We have very much enjoyed getting to know all of you. Your grace under tremendous pressure both professionally and personally is admired by all. We will all miss Rob's stories and laughter, friendship, companionship, and love. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Fondly,
