Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your great loss. My husband, Murray David Ogden, and your "R.J" were cousins (descending from Jesse Ogden - my husband through Vance Ogden, your's through "Button")and would have liked one another very much.

My husband is also a first cousin of your brother-in-law,Carl Blalock.
Their mothers were sisters.

The last time Carl visited he mentioned R.J. and expressed his concern about his health.

May Heavenly Father keep you close...

Mr.Ogden was a wonderful person.I
was one of the first students to attend Robert E Lee school. That has been so so many years ago.My thoughts and prayers are with
all
of his family and friends.I know
he will be deeply missed.
love and prayers,

So many years have passed by since you were my principal in '74-'75 at Robert E. Lee, you were my hero then and my hero today. You will be dearly missed, Thank You for being the one of the greatest principals that Lee School has ever had.

He hired me back in 1985 at MCPSS mainly because of my last name - "A good German name" he said, but was always quick to let me know that I was "the best secretary he ever had." I'll always be grateful to him because I wouldn't have my best friend in the world nor would I be where I am today had I not gotten that job. I'll always remember what a soft spot he had in his heart for children and how proud he was of his own and those...

We are so sorry to hear about R.J., so soon after Ulora. The obituary is so interesting and it's wonderful to hear all these stories about R.J. that I never knew. Mama is just so sad that she can not make it to these services. She has been so concerned about Ulora and R.J. both for these past few years. I am sending her copies of the obituary and extras for Mutt, Virgie, and some others. We all send our love and God Bless all of R.J.'s family.
