Not sure what to say?

I can not believe it has been a year already. When I walk around the neighborhood, I often pass by his house and think of all the good times we shared. I know he is resting in heaven right now!!!

You were one of my favorite teachers! Such a sad day

Rip Mr O, my favorite teacher I've ever had. It was great to reconnect with him a few years ago through one of his neighbors. Very sad day

I worked with Bob at Northeast School from 1976 to 1982. He was very funny and super nice!! He was a wonderful teacher and a great friend. I wish I would have found out earlier. My prayers go out to his family.

Bob was always a positive and upbeat person. He started the District 124 Teachers Bowling League at Bleekers Bowling Alley. It as a fun time because we got to know teachers from the other schools in the district as well as our maintenance men. I remember that Bob always had to have the latest in technology gadgets. He was a good friend and colleague. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Bob was a great guy. I really enjoyed being around him because he was always so positive and brought a smile to your face. If you knew Bob, you loved him.... he will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear this, and offer my prayers and sympathy to the family. Not only were we Leo classmates, we also were classmates at St. Christina. I went to one of Bob's birthday parties when we were very young, and I'll hold onto that memory even tighter now. God bless.

We loved Mr. Olson so much that we drew pictures of him on the back of our little vocab books. I remember writing and drawing a children's book and doing a research paper in his class and he was always quick with positive encouragement. He had a world of patience for all of us. I remember my mom taking computer classes with him and being so into it! She loved him as a teacher as well. He was always fun, supportive and engaging. The fact that I even remember all these things 33 years later...

Loved by many students, including my 3 kids.
