Robert C. Orne

Red was a fellow supervisor in the electronics dept for many years at EB. I worked for him before I became a boss. He taught me alot about being a kind supervisor+ a gracious person. Peace be with you Red.

It was a great pleasure to live next door to the Orne family. My dad and I would carpool to work together with Bob in the early "70´s". I will never forget riding in Bob´s Ford Galaxy , my dad Angelo would give Bob a hard time about that car. That thing would never warm in the 10 minute ride to EB.

He was a great person, great mentor and such a great person. He was always there if you needed anything. Red you will be missed.

Red was my boss, he was great man we had a lot of laughs and got the job done. RIP Red

Rest in Peace Uncle Bob. From allowing me the use of your skiff in West Boothbay Harbor for hours of joy in the cove in front of your home to letting me use the Salmon/White `58 Ford to take my drivers license exam and so much more. You set a fine example of what a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, coworker, friend and mentor should be. Miss you. Joan and Kathy and family be comforted knowing he is God´s loving care.
