ROBERT "Skipp" ORR

I read recently that Skipp died of a heart attack. I was shocked and saddened by the news. I couldn´t believe that such an alive and vibrant man could have left us. It must have been terrible for his close friends and family to know that he was gone. I am so sorry. Japan and the United States have lost a great friend and conciliator. He believed so passionately in the importance of the relationship. It will be very difficult to fill his shoes.

Skipp was a great brother. It is with a heavy heart and a lump in my throat that I am writing this. It is hard to believe he is gone. He was always larger than life and helped me many times. The passing of our Dad in 1980 left a hole in our hearts. I think the pain of that loss, his wonderful wife Miko, and many great friends helped to inspire him to greater heights.
