Not sure what to say?

I, Tom Barta, would like to 2nd what Tom Barta said on December 30, 2016............Bob lights up any room he enters. Once he started talking you had better have at least 30 minutes for Bob to slow down. I don't recall if I ever took any of Bob's advice but I do have so many laughable memories with Bob in the basement of the ATO house near the beer machine .........where all kinds of advice was thrown around ! I am sure Peg can confirm this! Hoping you , Peg, and your family have a...

Just received this information on Facebook. I'm so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He was a most admirable man. God bless you all, his family and friends, as I know you will miss him in the days and years to come.
My condolences,

Peg.........we had more laughs together than I can count at the ATO house. All Bob had to do was to step into a room and you knew the entire time with him would be full of jokes and laughter....a Santa Clause year round !
All of us are better people for having Bob in our lives. Love you Bro,
Tom Barta

Peg, so sorry to hear ofBob's passing.i met him once at your parents house in Ames. I pray that you and your family may find peace and comfort in this valley of darkness. We haven't seen one another for years but I wanted to let you know how sad I am for you.

I am so very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I knew him from St. Joseph the Worker/Holy Family Joint Pastoral Council. His wisdom and expertise and presence will be missed by us all.

We, at Options for Women, are so sorry for your loss. Bob was such a compassionate advocate for life and did much to support the work of pregnancy resource centers. He will be missed.

Peg and family,
With tears in our eyes we will always remember that sparkle that Bob provided. Those Ames CFM days, those softball games and after game parties with the family, the leadership he provided in our Ames KC and church, and of course, the quips from the Book of Bob are all treasured. Our prayers are with you all.
