I had the pleasure of meeting Robert G. Paasche Sr. for the first time when Alyssa and Brian took me to meet him and Gladys Paasche at their house four years ago. Since then it became a ritual to see them every Christmas Eve. When I saw him for the first time in December 2021 he sang to the tunes Brian played on their piano and Gladys said he doesn’t know the song.
