Not sure what to say?

It is funny that I received an e-mail today from Legacy about Bob. I actually had a dream about working with him just last night. I learned so much from Bob about how to be a good manager. He always treated everyone fairly and was always happy to get my call from the East Coast to Tacoma. Not only did he teach me how to be a good manager, he taught me how to be a better person. His long battle with cancer also taught me how to be a better man as his final message to me was filled with...

i am his grandson i loved him very much i have had fun times with him playing chess and more i remember him with much love and am happy about his very good life.

I had the great pleasure of working with Bob at Hillhaven for many years and thought of him not as a boss, but as a mentor and a friend. He came to my wedding in Las Vegas in 1998 and paid for the wedding dinner. We played golf the next day, so you could almost say we honeymooned together. Great guy. I will miss his many "guys" e-mails and his good humor. Godspeed my friend. You have touched a lot of lives.

It was truly a blessing to work with and know you. My heart is sad. Sending hope and strength to Marian, Ken and Steve.

For all of the above reasons he put together a strong finance team and developed a first-class accounting department. Above all, he was a great friend, had an infectious smile, and if you were...

Prayers and many fun memories.
