It is funny that I received an e-mail today from Legacy about Bob. I actually had a dream about working with him just last night. I learned so much from Bob about how to be a good manager. He always treated everyone fairly and was always happy to get my call from the East Coast to Tacoma. Not only did he teach me how to be a good manager, he taught me how to be a better person. I had the great pleasure of working with Bob at Hillhaven for many years and thought of him not as a boss, but as a mentor and a friend. He came to my wedding in Las Vegas in 1998 and paid for the wedding dinner. We played golf the next day, so you could almost say we honeymooned together. Great guy. I will miss his many "guys" e-mails and his good humor. Godspeed my friend. You have touched a lot of lives.
