Bob is best remembered as a really "nice guy." A life-long involvement in model cars culminated in his induction into the Model Car Museum Hall of Fame in 1998.

I worked with Bob at Moreland Ace Hardware for many years he was a great co-worker and friend my heart go out to Jan and the kids

Bob was one of those guys that, the first time you meet him, he's an instant friend that you've known for years. I was one of the fortunate model car guys that got to know Bob. His love for the hobby was amazing. He will truely be missed.

We first remember Bob as the one person at Moreland Hardware who actually listened and understood what we were trying to describe for our many odd projects.
I remember Bob when we were on the SMILE board together. As president, he always added a smile and a chuckle or two to some mighty tedious meetings!
And, we remember Bob's unfailing determination and willingness to make it happen as we worked on making the little church into the jewel it now is!

My dear Jan and Steven...the beautifully written story of Bob's life is so fitting and informative. Think of all of the happy times, even the challenging times and know you influenced one another a lot. My thoughts are with you all,

Bob was a great friend and he wil surlly be missed. He'd always come in with a big smile on his face. I never ever saw a frown from him. He'd stop you and do them one liner jokes, and all you can do is shake your head, He was a riot to have around. Could never say nothing bad about him, just good thought. On the friday when heard that he past the day before. all I could picture him up there at the perlly gate smilling and telling a bunch of one liners

Thank you for "sharing Bob" every month with the SABA members . . . friend, mentor . . there aren't enough words to describe what an inspiration and sheer delight it was to know Bob!!! He will be deeply missed.
