Not sure what to say?

I did not know this man, however I recently read his book which I found in a clinic and was taken back to my days in The Army Air Corp. It was truly a walk down mmory lane. The times and places reported in the early part of his duty were very similar to mine. After the war I elected to remain in the service, and retired after 31 years of duty. May the unending love, support, and peace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ be with you at this time.
"He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart." Isaiah 40:11
May the grace of the Lord be with you always,

Mary & Family,
We will miss Bob's smiling face & gentle voice at our Veterans of Tierra Verde Meetings. He was loved by all in our group.

He and Gene Wisniewski were two of a kind. My condolences to the family.

Had the wonderful experience of running into Bob when he needed services from my place of employment. What a wonderful story teller. My daughter and I bought several copies of his book and he was kind enough to address and autograph them for their recepients, which loved it. His legacy is a gift of memories. Even though he passed briefly through my life I feel blessed.

Mary and family
So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Mary, we did not know that you lived so close to us. We live in Palmetto, Florida, just across the Skyway. We remember when you and Bob were married and I took your job at CFD/Defiance and ended up living next to your parents on Wayne. Please give our sympathy to your children and grandkids. Would love to see you sometime here in Florida. Much love, Jim and Barb Wurst

Rest in peace.
