Robert Paola passed away in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The obituary was featured in The Providence Journal on March 28, 2011.
I was so sorry to learn recently of Bob's untimely death. I was a drum student of his for many years. I have very fond memories of him as an enthusiastic drum teacher, a kind personable man and a great orchestra leader. I'm glad to say that I have known him. Thank you, Bob for everything.

I’m so sorry to see this.. i was a student of Robert when I was 15, he taught me everything I know and I am now a drum teacher thanks to him. I’m 62 now.. I’m not sure how long ago this happened but I’m sad to see if.
