Yes, I remember the glass grapes as well. I decided to design my own project in wood-- a spice rack. I stayed late many afternoons trying to finish it (sanding much more than was necessary) and Mr. Papp kindly stayed late to allow me to pursue this important project (my mother's Xmas gift). A very kind man.

Mr. Papp, How I remember to "wear your goggles" was such a strong safety statement from you everyday! I remember making the clean and wooden pen holders and glass grapes in your class. It was such fun and you were an amazing person with a killer smile that just lit up your face. You will always be remembered fondly as one of those great teachers! May you Rest In Peace Mr. Papp.

Rest in peace Mr. Papp. I still have and cherish the wooden pear I made in his shop class! Every time I look at it, I smile and think of the fun times and lessons I learned in Mr.Papp's class.
