I had the pleasure of working with Bob for a year at Mass Electric back in the 80's. He was the nicest, nicest man. Always with a kind word, and always a gentleman. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Uncle Bob...much loved by all. May the family hold ALL the great times that were had with Uncle Bob. He was warm, considerate, fun and full of love for all. RIP with Bobsey

To the whole Parent family, I send my deepest condolences. Bob was a wonderful man. My mother Eileen McGrath Carr was his cousin. Love and prayers. Terry Carr

My thoughts and love are with everyone. Uncle Bob was always a joy to see and be around. One of my favorite memories was working at the polls with him, Joanie Finn, and crew 25 years ago. Uncle Bob would feed the ballots into the hand-crank machine. We had a lot of laughs. I wish I could be there in person to celebrate him. Such an amazing man and family. My heart goes out to you.

Having had the privilege and joy of being Bob's neighbor and friend for 26 years, his leaving this earth seems as though a family member has stepped out, and closed the door behind him.
I send my heartfelt condolences to all of his family. My conversations with Bob Parent (and John Steigler, at times) on his porch at his Clark Ave. home, his caring interest in others, and his warmth have been among life's special favors. Thank you, dear Bob!
