Dear Mrs.Parente, Linda, Robbie, Peter, I want to leave my sincerest condolences to the family. I was just notified of the passing of "Coach".. and he will always be part of my fondest childhood memories, as will the rest of the Parente family! I will always remember those weeknight commutes up to CLCF building for basketball practice, boy was he a patient guy when it came coaching me! I'll never forget seeing him every spring for our ESE seasons, all the way up to rival high school and...

Dear JoAnn, I just learned of Bob's passing yesterday while having lunch with a former Arco Saleman. I am saddened to lose a good friend, our mutual love of baseball was a common bond. I remember our Sunday morning flag football games and you teaching us how to dance for an ARCO skit at a retirement party. Mostly I remember Bob's devotion to his family. May God Bless you all at this time and fill you with wonderful memories of your long life together. Love, Jim Tracy

Dear Jo-An: Iwas very saddened to learn that Bob had recently passed away.I appologize for not being able to attend either the wake or funeral but I was out of town at the time. Bob and I were close friends in high school and used to talk about sports and many other things on a regular basis. We continued our friendship at U.R.I. as we were both members of Theta Chi and played on the baseball team together. We both became High School baseball coaches and I enjoyed playing...

Another great role model and leader from Edgewood has left us. These past few years, I don't even like to look at the obituaries because it seems like every time I do, I see the name of someone from Edgewood who made growing up in Edgewood so great!
Linda, Mrs. Parente, Rob and Peter, please accept my sympathies during this very difficult time. Whenever I have the opportunity to drive down Park Ave, there are always two spots that bring back such great memories, the area where The...

Hello Jo-An! I just learned of your loss of Bob. This is the first news I have of you and Bob since my leaving RI following URI. Where did almost 50 years go? The last time I saw Bob was graduation and comissioning June '61. In addition to common business classes, ROTC and athletics, Bob was my weekend chauffeur to Edgewood until I got my own vehicle in our senior year. I was looking forward to hopefully seeing Bob during our 50th class reunion in 2011. My recollection is that you and Bob...
