Not sure what to say?

He is soooo missed.

I was searching for Dr. Parker and found this obituary. Dr. Parker was my husband´s and my PCP in San Antonio for several years. We admired and trusted him. I´m sad to know he´s no longer with us but happy to read about the full life he enjoyed. He was very special and saw us through some tough times.

Just read of your passing. May you rest in peace. I remember dinners with you when visiting my parents in San Antonio and seeing Billie Jo. Sure miss seeing the family. My sympathies to the family in your loss.

Bruce was a wonderful colleague, friend, and physician. He was a truly caring and compassionate physician and a man who lived life to the fullest. I still remember bringing my family up to visit Bruce, Marilyn, and Seymour, the bobcat. Our kids still remember that visit to this day. Our deepest condolences to Marilyn and the rest of the family.

I finished my vascular surgery fellowship in 1983 and started practice in San Antonio that year, the same year that Bruce Parker came back to San Antonio to practice. This was when family doctors did everything - if they admitted a patient to the hospital, they saw them everyday, often more than once a day. Bruce took a chance in referring his patients to a young vascular surgeon, and I admired greatly the intelligence, warmth, and common sense of his medical practice. His patients love him,...

Dr. Parker was the best. He is the gold standard of all my doctors. Thank the lord he stayed on me to take of my cedar allergy 30 yrs ago. I think of him each year. I say so long to a fellow Jefferson alum. RIP doc.
