Not sure what to say?

Slight correction to my entry: Mom tells me that Gray Patton didn't deliver me (he was a pediatrician, not an obstetrician), but visited us - mother and son - on my first day in this world. He cared for all the Osius kids in San Francisco.

Gray Patton delivered me. He was one of my parents' closest friends and, 23 years after that delivery, we went on a wonderful sailing trip to the Bahamas. It was a special trip for all of us, especially because Rosemary and Gray, along with Susie Renfrew, had joined us. It was also the last time I sailed with my dad, who died a few months later. I shall never forget gentle Gray or lively, witty and loving Rosemary. What wonderful friends they were!

I was sorry to read of Dr. Patton passing . He was my pediatrician, as well as our children´s pediatrician. He was a calm, very kind gentleman.May he rest in Paradise

My brothers and I were all patients of Dr Patton. I still remember those visits, especially his kind, gentle manner. My parents were grateful to have such a great pediatrician for us, and to this day they recall how helpful his early morning telephone hour was. I have since become a pediatric provider myself and I hope I can live up to my wonderful memories of him. I am glad to know his life outside of medicine was full with a loving family, travel, and so many interests. He will always be...

I could write a book about this amazing, kind, supportive man. My mom worked with him at Children´s Hospital Pediatric Clinic and he became our Pediatrician. How lucky to have this Doctor that made house visits in the 60´s to check on my sisters and into the 70´s home visits to new moms and babies once they were discharged from the hospital. At nineteen he told me ,I really needed to graduate to Internal Medicine for my care! Proudly he became my son´s pediatrician and was beyond supportive and...

Dr. Patton was the pediatrician for my daughters until they left for college. ( They are now in their 50s). His calming influence , smile, and the Kit Kat clock were always key components of our office visits

Dr. Patton was a fixture of my childhood and the embodiment of a GOOD MAN. Always gentle, patient, caring. A lovely, kind doctor and person, and a life well-lived. He made a house call when I broke my leg at age six in 1973! I saw him until I was 21 years old...I think of him often and cherish his memory. My condolences to his family. May you find comfort in all the ways he made myriad lives better.
