Not sure what to say?

Our family always bought their shoes at Paxton's. I went through many pairs of Red Ball Jets. I always though I could run a little faster and jump a little higher when I came home from the store with a new pair of shoes. They also gave you a comic book with your purchase. Bob Paxton was my father's cousin. When my mother took us to the store, either he or his father would always wait on us. He will be missed but I'll carry fond memories of Paxton's Shoe Store and its owners for a long time.

I was sorry to hear of Bob's
passing. He worked very hard at his
business and for the Main Street
Association. Bob was very interested in seeing that the Main
Street Association would be a
success for all of the area. I enjoyed working with him for a
number of years.

Bob was a great friend and partner of the Williams family. His knowledge and intelligence were shared with us over many years, teaching retail to Dan when he attended Miami and buying Drew shoes from Scott. Still recovering from knee surgery, but want to take this opportunity to let Eileen and the family know he will be missed.

The gentleness of Bob's character leaves many fond memories that will always be in our hearts. Our heart felt sympathy, prayers and love are extended to the family and close friends. Bob was one of Hamilton's great businessmen. We will miss him.

Our condolences to the family of a Hamilton High classmate.

My family has known Bob And Eileen for 45 years. My Dad and Bob worked very close together in the shoe business. Bob became one of my mentors and contributed greatly to my success in the footwear business. A true gentle man and friend
