It was one of my joys to come to the Payne home on Alvarado as a youngster. There was always so much activity, and the Paynes were so welcoming. Judy and I are still close friends. I am sorry that Dr. P is no longer with us, but it was a blessing to have him amongst us for 90 years. My love to all the family.
