Honest. Modest. Sincere. Caring. Gentle. All of these words only begin to describe the man who was a loving father, husband, friend and citizen.

I have been friends of the Pearce family since my youth, and they were my second family. Whenever you saw Mr. Pearce, he always had a smile and a kind word - no matter what.

He could always see the good in everything and everyone. He was patient, a true role model for those in his attendance.

I'm saddened...

Dear Pearce Family:
Another legend in my youth has gone home. Some of my fondest memories of my childhood was the Pearce 5 & 10. There was always a cheerful face as we entered the store and it was Mr. Pearce's. I know that my sister and I made the days sales for years when we bought those false finger nails that you glued on.They cost $1.
