So sorry to hear. He was a special person and He and Virginia a very special couple both personally and professionally. Great examples for us all! My prayers for all who loved them.

I wanted to let you know what impact Bob had on my life. I first met him while I was a graduate student at Virginia Tech. He was well known in the simulation and modeling world for agricultural engineers. I later had the pleasure of working with him while pursuing my Ph.D. at the University of Florida. I knew him as a gentle man, personally engaging, and a mentor. I am sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to learn of Bob's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. I loved spending time with your whole family when I lived out in the Purdue area. Bob and Virginia were my family away from home when I was a student and when I worked in Purdue Extension and University of Illinois Extension. Annah Abbott.
