Not sure what to say?

Mercedes, Charley & I have so many wonderful memories of good times with Bobby since we first met on the bayou over 36 years ago. Memories like Charley going door to door with Bobby campaigning for re-election and then the three of us having a draft because it was so hot. Times like my birthday party in New Orleans and so many other good times. Lynn, Kristy, Whitney and Steve, we know you will miss him greatly and your sorrow will not heal quickly. Our thoughts are with you.

With deepest regards to your family

Some of the best memories of my childhood were when I went to visit Uncle Bobby and Aunt Lynn. Uncle Bobby seemed to love to entertain us as kids. I wouldn't know much about crabs or fishing if it wasn't for him. He always put a smile on my face. I will miss him greatly.

Uncle Bobby always had a smile on his face and his happy-go-lucky attitude spread to all in his company. My whole childhood and as an adult are full of wonderful memories that I will hold forever in my heart. He had a partial hand, I believe, in who I've become today. Thank you for all you gave me.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Bob in person, I feel I knew who he was because of the way Kristy talked about him at the hair salon. He sounded like such a fun person to be around. He loved his wife, his home, being on the water, having his friends over for a beer. He loved his children, grandchildren, and his newest great-granddaughter. I know he will be dearly missed but he leaves behind wonderful memories that will last forever. I offer you all my thoughts and prayers. ...

Uncle Bobby had a calming affect on me. I always felt happy and relaxed when I was around him. My best memories of childhood all include him in some way or another. He was my most favorite uncle, but, I'll never miss him because he's in my heart and memories forever.
