I had done a lot of research into the Huguenot history of our family, descendants of Daniel Jaudon, who came over to American in the 1680's from the Isle d' Re in France. Dr. Peeples was a fine individual who will be missed!

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Peeples many years ago at Hilton Head; we had mutual connections through Huguenot Society, First Families of S.C and more. He will certainly be missed.

Even though I never met Dr. Peeples in person, I talked with him on a few occasions concerning our common Peeples ancestry. He helped me quite a bit by letting me secure the Peebles book by Anne Bradbury Peebles. I admired his commitment to heritage and willingness to help other family researchers whom I referred to him.
My condolences to his family. His like will not be seen again. I am Kenneth White of North Charleston, a Peeples descendant.
