Not sure what to say?

Love and miss you Uncle Bob. The world is a different place without you...

My prayers for the Family, they have been apart of my Life in one way or the other for decades....My Condolences to Bob's family...Although I had met him many years ago he was a great human being and what a great smile, you will surely be missed....Regina Murphy-Jones

My father was Bob and Dick's Scoutmaster when I was about 3 or 4, in Troop 12 in Juneau. I always had trouble telling them apart, but they were both great guys. It's a shame that we have lost another historian, and I hope that someone in the family will help finish his book.

Rod,

Alaska will miss another Pegeus boy taken too early. Our hearts go out to you.

So sad to learn of Bob's passing. He was always so nice to all of his old school friends. He will be greatly missed.

Thanks to Uncle Bob for past memories, for cheerful greetings, friendly help at the store, fueling boats, writing and researching history, posting the weather report on the door, and for sharing his award-winning potato salad.  He will be missed.

Ahh well. It is time to say farewell to my old pal Bob. We had a lot of fun together in days long gone. He had a sense of humor and a warm heart. Although I have not seen him for years I will always remember those early days in radio, hiking, sittin' and sippin' and enjoying life in Alaska. It was a better time. So long old friend.

Pegues Family, so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Uncle Bob was an amazing story-teller. He had so many stories of his earlier days, and always had a story to share. I will and do miss him. His stories will forever keep his spirit alive in my heart.
