I was a dance student at UAB in the late 70´s-early 80´s and an English minor. He was one of my favorite professors! I loved his classes, his wit, his laughter. My deepest condolences for the family.

When I changed my major at UAB to English Lit in the early seventies I began to hear about a guy by the name of Bob Penny and how good his classes were.
