Not sure what to say?

I am truly saddened upon just hearing of Bob's passing. He and I were classmates in the MBA program at Penn State and he was a good friend. Bob was a great guy to be around and always cheeful and upbeat even when we had no idea what we were doing in some of the classes we had together. Although we had not spoken in quite some time I'll always remember him as part of my Penn State experience. My sincere condolences to his wife and children and to his parents. He is missed.

Doreen, Bob was a wonderful man in so many ways (husband, dad and friend). I'm so thankful I got to know you both over the last 6 years. Actually, met you after y'all were married. Charlie always talked about Bob and finally got to meet him in Memphis during a golf tournament. Doreen, anyone could truly tell how happy you made Bob and then when Garrett came along - well, he was one proud DAD!! You, Garrett and Ryan will continue to be in our prayers. We will come and see you everytime...

Doreen: Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. Bob was a very special part of our lives for many years, and we are better people because we played and laughed together with him. All our love, Justin, Emma, Erin and Christian.

Doreen, I extend my most sincere condolences to you and your family. Bob will be forever remembered by me, for the his great energy towards his family, and the professional manner in which he conducted himself in business. I will never forget Bob.
Sincerely, Joe Reichard

Gretchen, Cooper, and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the whole Perks family. I'll never forget playing baseball with Bob as his dad coached. He and I shared a mutual best friend, Howard Witham, and I always felt connected to Bob through Howie as we all grew up and grew apart. It's very sad to lose someone so young and with so much to offer.

Bob was a class act and a great guy. He made the world a better place.

Doreen, know that Bill and I send our love and prayers to you and the little guys. Do express our sentiments to Doreen with whom I worked in the SCASD.

Bob was a guy I knew only casually and spoke with in brief intervals when I first started attending PSU sports functions in 1989. But he had such a friendly, uplifting and positive personality -- yet easily so -- that he made an immediate impression. It was easy to be drawn to him; a lot of people were. Years later, I got to know Bob much better. I guess because I thought he was the kind of person I'd do well to have rub off on me a little. I think everyone who did was the better for it.

Our deepest and most sincere condolences go out to the entire family. May you find comfort in knowing that your friends hold you in their thoughts and prayers.
