Like my brother Kevin, I also knew Mr. Perry as the father of my friend who lived two doors down the block. When I was young I was only aware of seeing Mr. Perry come and go around the neighborhood. But as an adult I got to know him and appreciate his intelligence and the diversity of his interests.
