Robert H. Perry Robert H. "Tossie" Perry, age 69, of Fredericksburg, left this earthly life and walked into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 10, 2011, after a courageous battle with heart disease and cancer.

Mr. Perry was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He retired from the home building industry in 2008. Mr. Perry loved baseball and played for over 30 years. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and a dedicated Washington Redskins and Duke basketball fan.

Survivors include his wife, Emily A. Perry; daughters, Lisa Perry and her companion John Sutherland, and Jenna Nicole Perry, all of Stafford; step-daughters, Sherry Pfenninger and her husband, Jerry of King George, Emily Jean Skebeck and her husband, Lenny of Spotsylvania, and Pamela Williams and her husband, Michael of Winchester; brothers, Jack Perry of Fredericksburg, and James Perry of Stafford; sisters, Elizabeth Shackelford of Fredericksburg, and Mary Dent of Stafford; step-grandchildren, Joseph Skebeck, Jacob Skebeck, and "his little sunshine", Makayla Williams; many nieces, nephews and other relatives; and his beloved dog, Cody. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Nellie Perry; his first wife, Dorothy Ann Perry; his son, Robert Wayne Perry; and seven siblings.

A funeral will be held at noon on Monday, February 14, 2011, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel with the Rev. Todd Pyle officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Jack Perry, James Perry, Keith Perry, Ronnie Perry, Ricky Hairfield, Bryan Livesay and John Pape.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the funeral home.
