It has been a year and it still pains me to think that Bob is gone. He was such a joy to be around and to be his friend. I am so sorry that I will not able to attend the funeral service, because I live so far away in New Iberia, La. Bob will always be a part of my happy memories during our youth especially.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Bob and his wife for several years now. His wife Beverly and I loved to talk about teaching and singing or listening to songs in French. What I enjoyed more, was spending time with Bob reading and discussing the Battle of Midway in our book club- something he really looked forward to each Sunday afternoon.
