Robert was born on November 13, 1933 and passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016. Robert was a resident of Goshen, Indiana at the time of his passing. He was married to Geri. A memorial service honoring Bobâs life will be held at 3:00 pm at the Eighth Street Mennonite Church on Sunday September 25 with fellowship afterwards. Pastors Brenda Sawatzky-Paetkau and Julia Gingrich will officiate. A private burial will occur at a later date in Henderson Nebraska. Elkhart Cremation Service is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the Robert Peters Internship Scholarship Fund at the Center for Community Justice 121 South Third Street Elkhart Indiana 46516.
Bob and Geri were the first to welcome me to Eighth Street Mennonite Church many years ago. I will always treasure their warm hospitality. I will miss Bob very much and wish God's fullest measure of peace to Geri.
