Dr. Robert O. Philips Jr.

Dear Annie and Philips Family:

My heart is very heavy. I felt today that I just heard I had lost a friend, more than a healthcare provider/doctor. I am very sorry to hear about Dr. Robert O. Philips passing. I had been with “Doc” almost 20 years and we had built a great rapport, if not a friendship, and, we shared August 18th, as our birthday. For me, Doc's presence, skills, gentle matter, patience, and forthrightness will be dearly missed.

Annie, I am sorry to hear about Dr.Phillip homegoing. Bernard was making an appt today with Dr. Whitehead but he was on vacation. Bernard asked to see Dr. Phillip and was told he had passed. We both was sadden when he told me. I have known Dr. Phillip since I was a teenager living on Clodus Fields Dr and his office on Coit Rd. He was still my mom doctor when she passed in 1999. He was our family doctor and we loved him. You have been there too by his side. We love you. I pray your strength...

Jim and I just learned of Bob's passing. We are so truly saddened. We had not seen our dear friend in a very long time. This does not seem possible. We are very close in proximity and would offer helping hands and loving hearts to all of you.

Annie, my prayers are with you and the Philips family. Dr. Philips was the best doctor that I EVER had, and I just leared of his passing today and am just devastated and so sad. You were the light of his life..may God keep you in His tender care.

So sad to hear of Dr. Philips passing. I wasn't a long-time pt of his, but in the short time I was in his care I enjoyed his manner, kind disposition, and the way he talked and explained things that let you know he truly cared. R.I.P. Dr Philips.

Ann, my heart dropped this evening when I opened the letter to hear about your beloved husband's passing. I can only imagine how sad you and the family are feeling after his passing. Dr. Philips was an AMAZING doctor! He always took time with every patient to listen what was going on and share his wisdom to promote wellness and healing.
