Not sure what to say?

You left us to early. But, you did not leave without making an everlasting memory in my life, and in my heart. You will ever be missed from this day forward.

I cherish the time we had together, and I am saddened by the fact we will have no more. However, thank you for all the laughs, and the stories we built together.

Robert was a loyal, and dedicated friend who cared for those close to him. He was also the individual to uplift spirits when they needed it, or to...

We just learned about Robert's passing today (09/28/03). Our heart breaks for you. I (Joni) have known Howard my entire life, or so it seems, and watched all of his children grow up. To lose one so young is especially difficult. You will be in our prayers.

Robert and I attended school together for 12 years. He and I were a year apart, but played on many sports teams together and shared the same classroom on many occasions. To my regret, Robert and I did not stay in contact after high school. However, I have many great memories of him and the good times and laughter we shared. Below are a few of those memories:

One morning in about 5th grade or so, we were milling around the breezeway at St. John before school started. For some...

Robert was an awesome human being and friend. I met him for the first time in 8th grade during "Field Day" when our schools were competing with each other, he from St. John and me from Mt. Olive. We were immediately drawn to each other because we were both wearing the same 'OP' tee shirt, except his was sleeveless. We talked about going to LHS the next year and seeing each other then. At lunch on the first day of school at LHS we were both looking like little lost puppies when we spied each...

The Acuna family would like to extend our prayers to the Pietsch family in this time of need. We are forever reminiscing at family gatherings - about our school years at St. John Lutheran and LHS and how blessed we are to have met such wonderful friends and families. Robert will be dearly missed, but will never be forgotten. Know that he touched many lives and as long as we have gatherings, he will forever be remembered.
Seek comfort and strength in Our Lord Jesus Christ and may God...

Robert and I were classmates from K-12th grades, I'm grateful for the years of friendship we were able to share. Robert was so incredibly gifted. He was the envy of his classmates, making great grades and rarely having to open a book. Playing football and basketball, our highschool opponents were always looking out for #32. I'll never forget his contagious laughter or the great memories of shared school years. My prayers are with the Pietsch family.

My memories of Robert (Robbie) are from a long time ago while we were at school at St. John Lutheran. He was always laughing and making other people laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with the Pietsch family.

Fifteen years ago, we graduated together. Today, I, along with all my other classmates, mourn the passing of an intelligent, good natured friend. Tomorrow, and all the days hereafter, he will be remembered and never forgotten.

All three of my daughters went to Lutheran South Academy. The two oldest went to school with Robert at the same time. He is remembered and also his sister Lisa. My family sends our prayers. Please accept with deepest sympathy our heartfelt thoughts. May God be a comfort at this time and give you strength. School friends, Kristen and Cindy Morehead.
