We're so grateful to have had such a great "dad" for all these years. We will truely miss him especially when we go to visit mom.
We'll miss his funny jokes, his playing the guitar and singing, his "special" recipes at meals, taking us places like Turkeyville, all of the walks and rides out back , also the fishing and deer hunting. And just plain spending time together.
See you later!
LOVE , ALWAYS

Ruth, I only knew you from coming into Keisers but I have to tell you we always looked forward to seeing you two. Bob always had such a great sense of humor and was such fun to wait on.
I pray that God will keep you and comfort you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathy to Bobs family. He was a friend of my dads years ago.My dad, Marvin Waldahl, thought a lot of him..I remember his girls from my childhood..nice people.

Bob and my Mom and Dad (Chuck and Millie Callihan) sang together a lot before my parents went home to glory too. I'm sure that they are pickin and grinning together again. Praise God for such an assurance and hope!

In My Heart
I thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
I think of you in silence.
I often speak your name.
Now all I have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake.
With which I will never part.
God has you in his keeping.
But I have you in my heart!

I love you Grampa Bob!
Love Dawn, Clayton and Jeffrey

Ruth and family;
Our deepest sympathy to all of you on the passing of a great man. I know without a doubt Mom and Dad Callihan will reunite with Bob in heaven and there will be a lot of singing up there.

I wish Deb and I could be there during this time of sadness and loss of our Grandfather. Know that you are in our thoughts. We will miss Grampa Bob terribly, but know that where he is now there is no suffering or pain. Only joy and happiness.
And remember all those who went first and are there to welcome him with love and open arms.
We love and miss you all!

As he entered Heaven's Pearly Gates, I'm sure "cousin" Bob was VERY warmly greeted by his old pal Emery Willard Munro.
Emery considered Bob & Ruth his "foster parents". They took wonderful care of him.
Here on earth, Emery had Downs Syndrome, and he & Bob were "catching old".
How fitting that Bob should be the first of the rest of us to meet his old buddy, free from earthly aches & pains & with a bright, healthy mind!
