Not sure what to say?

I was a pharmaceutical rep for 33 years and called on Dr. Pittelkow in the 90´s. Usually at North Point and Quad... He was respected by all in the community and was one of the most genuine doctors I called on ever. He could be brutally honest at times but that is what you want from your customers if you could take it. I knew who the quality doctors were because their staff stuck around for years. He did not have much turnover. I was sad to hear he had passed. Dr. Pittelkow will be missed...

My name is Nancy Julien (Walton). I was a Nurse for Dr. Pittlekow 1964-1969 - and then again in 1977 - I would come and help out from the Madison area one day a week. I was working for Dr. Pittelkow when my husband died in a car accident in 1979. I continued to work for him for a few months. Those were Wonderful Years in my life. I thoroughly enjoyed working for and with Dr. Pittelkow. He was my Boss and my Friend. Nancy

You were known to many and will be missed by all.

I have had the privilege and honor of a many decades association with the Pittelkow family, and to each of his children, and especially to Barbara, I extend my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved father and husband.

Dr. Pittelkow was a kind and caring man of unimpeachable integrity with an irrepressible sense of humor. His stoicism during his latter years bespoke the courage that made the man. I will never forget the charity he extended to me as an impecunious student;...

I will always remember Dr Bob ,his smile and laughter,his sense of humor,it was an honor to have taken care of him for over 10 yrs..when he was asked what he wanted to drink he would always say"whiskey"with a big grin.may he rest in peace.

Rest in Peace
Dr. Robert Pittelkow , M.D. and my
Sincere Sympathy to the Pittelkow Family
I have very fond memories of my days as a Medical Assistant primarily at the East Wisconsin Avenue Wells Bldg. Office and occasionally the Silver Spring Office.... I had one incident where he gave me a check for the amount he was overcharged on a phone bill that I noticed to be wrong and I had disputed it ... It wasn't about the money it was about the principle of the matter ... I admired...

Doctor Pittelkow was my dermatologist years ago when I had several serious bouts with poison ivy. I have such fond memories of how nice and caring he was. He will be dearly missed by many.

Barbara and Family;
It was with sadness that I read about Dr. Bob's passing this morning. I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner with the two of you two years ago at the Armed Forces Dinner; it was a pleasant visit after too many years of missed contact. I remember that he was so very proud of his family and spoke more of them than his own accomplishments as a Naval Officer and his distinguished medical career. Very humble man; and I was proud to know him as a shirt-tail relative native...
