Historian and Docent Bob Piwarzyk loved the continuous learning that being a historian demanded. He contributed his talents and knowledge to the Santa Cruz Historical Societies he became a part of.

A traditional song Bob sang with me over the telephone lines connecting 3,000 miles every New Years Eve: Auld Lang Syne Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Brickbat Bob is remembered fondly as an avid brick collector and a member of the International Brick Collectors Association.

May God's Light from Heaven embrace you as you celebrate the birth of the beautiful infant Christ Child this Christmas, and may your spirit be present with us on earth as we celebrate our Polish “Oplatki” on Christmas Eve.
