Robert William "Bob" Piwarzyk

I first met Bob a long time ago when I started managing the City of Santa Cruz watershed lands adjacent to his house. With our mutual interest in all things karst and history, we had a lot to talk about! He was a great neighbor and I always learned something from him when we had the chance to connect. He will be sorely missed but his spirit lives on through his many works and his relationships with so many people in our watersheds. Peace be with his family and friends.

Bob was a visionary, with courage, freedom and determination characteristics of a high flying Falcon. He was proud of his heritage, and gave his family paternal leadership and excellent moral example. You are loved Bob!
