Not sure what to say?

My friend, my buddy, we worked together for years shared good times and bad. Every time I pass your house I say Hi Bob. Love to you my friend. Miss you. Larry Torrey Belchertown

Thoughts, prayers and condolences to the Plantier family.

I will miss as my hugs from Bob at Northampton Athletic club where I interacted with him for over 20 years. I had the pleasure of working with him as a personal trainer also. He was a bright light and always asked me " are you happy" especially after a painful divorce almost 20 years ago. I will truly miss this beautiful man. He was a blessing in my life.

Having known Bob for over 40 years and had a daily conversation for 30 + years with him(sometimes twice a day) I got to now a great deal about him. His love of birds, dogs & little kids were always talked about. He was the #1 fan of Umass sports. Football, hockey & basketball were his favorites. Even went to a lacrosse games. He will be missed by many.

I was very sorry to learn of your Bob's passing. I first met him when I met/married my husband and moved to town in the early 1980s. Your Dad was one of a kind, yet to me he embodied the spirit of Easthampton, by his warm friendly manner and his big smile. No matter where we'd bump into each other, he always had time for a joke or a story or two or three. Farewell, to one of Easthampton's town ambassadors. You will be missed, but not forgotten.

I enjoyed working with Bob as a call man back in the early 1970's plus worked with him at Trico. Over the years I would have many enjoyable conversations with the Chief. The last few years I have lived in Fl, but come up yearly to visit my old home town. Each meeting with the Chief he would say " What are you doing here ? Go back to Florida". We always had good times kidding each other. I am so sad I will not get his greeting this year. Rest in Peace, old friend.

He and Red can tell stories together, he was a wonderful, kind hearted staple of Easthampton. He will never be forgotten. Godspeed ahead . Much Love , Amy

We were saddened to hear of the Chief´s passing. I got to know Bob when he and a few other gentlemen would gather weekly in the Cafe at Big Y for their morning coffee and commence to solving the Worlds problems. They sure were a fun group of guys! Bob was always friendly and had a big smile for everyone. May you all find comfort in knowing how much Bob was loved and revered in this community. Peace ~ Andrea
