Not sure what to say?

I was the first employee hired by Mr. Polachek to work at the Bank of Everett. He was an excellent employer and I enjoyed working for him. Much to my delight he was on the board of Directors of American First National Bank.My sympathy to you Barbara, Julie and Sue. I respected and admired him. Most of all, He was a gentleman. I am proud to have known him.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing away. I always felt like he was a connection to my dad. My thoughts are with you.

I started work for Bob in 1964. He was the ultimate example of a GENTLEMAN. He was considerate of all. I remember his associating with the powerful people of the time. But he was certainly a friend to the powerless as well. At 23 when I was made an Officer of the Bank, he said to me, "David, Now you can call me 'Bob'." We were fortunate to have known him.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with you. We have missed seeing you since you moved to Oregon, but it is nice to be near your family. The area here has changed so much in the last five years. God bless

What a kind and gentle man he was. I enjoyed working for him at the Bank of Everett. He will be missed by many. My best to the family.

Hi BJ: It's early in the morning, and I am my computer...never miss reading the obits and am so very sad to read of Bob's passing.

I have emailed a copy of the obit to Kathy Hughes Jewell (yes, she remarried several years ago).

Roy joins me in offering our condolences. Let me hear from you when you have the time.

Love, Bev
