POLLACK, Robert Joseph – Age 82, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at Mission Point.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint, Father Pierre Bassil officiating.
Mr. Pollack will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass.
Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018.
Robert was born on April 17, 1936, to Albert and Lois (Horton) Pollack.
Robert graduated from Sacred Heart School in Flint in 1954 and then joined the Air Force.
On July 16, 1960 Robert married Patricia M. Chema.
Robert retired from Genesee District Library in 1986 and was active in the Lions. Bob first joined the Otter Lake Lions, then joined the Westwood Heights Lions (it was closer to home) and then the Flint Township Lions.
Surviving are wife, Patti;
daughter, Kathryn and husband Ray Bilkie of Arizona;
sister, Dianne Lemon of Florida;
brother, John and wife Nancy of Beaverton, Michigan;
3 granddaughters, Jennifer and husband Doug Miller of Holly,
Laura Blume of Texas and Susan Blume of Arizona;
also surviving are 3 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob and Aria of Texas;
sister-in-law, Judy; Patti’s brothers and sisters.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald.
