Robert Ponder

Located this picture of Robert Ponder (and me Matt Adams) holding a Beatles Hey Jude Award from the Retro Record Days (circa 1982). I had been thinking about this picture after I heard about Bob's and I went straight to it after I woke up. It is probably late 1982 or early 1983 before I had a car. Music has always been a big part of my life especially The Beatles. I will always remember those Retro days & Bob.

Deepest condolences on your loss...we were so fond of Bob...as music shop owners ourselves, we shared frustrations...& SPLENDOR...together on many occassions...our hearts break for your loss.

Bob was always pleasant as long as I've worked with him, and I was very sad to learn of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
