Not sure what to say?

I was just sitting here with my two daughters, age nine and two, and something sparked a memory of one of my favorite teachers, Mr. Popp. I think it was fourth grade when he was my teacher at Immanuel. I remember some kids were a little cautious of him because of a reputation of sternness, but I remember him fondly - eager to teach us all about whatever subject (anything regarding nature, especially), happy to help any student having trouble with the lessons, and I owe to him in no small...

Bob was the best. Generous and kind, an excellent teacher, husband, father and friend. I guess heaven needed a new joke teller, and boy, could he do that! He brought many souls to Christ as he was a dedicated man; but his strength was teaching the many children of the Immanuel family the love of the earth created by the Lord, and how to see the absolute beauty in all of it, even bugs! My thoughts and prayers are with Lois, Tim and their families as they move on without him. A joyous reunion...

My condolences to those he left behind. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from Mr. Popp. Loved his lessons in art glass and daily devotionals. Heaven has welcomed a great man and teacher into its gates.

Mr. Popp was a gentle man in the rest sense of the word. A good teacher, coach and principal at Immanuel Lutheran School. I know he had his hands full with some of the kids (of which I was one). Very sad to hear and condolences to the family.

Tim & Elena,

My deepest condolences to you, your mom, and the whole family. God be with you.

Love to you,

Our love and prayers to all the Popp family. Bob was a faithful servant of the Lord .

Bob was always one of my favorite cousin whom I admired for his humor and dedication to his Lord. We will meet again with the Lord.
