Farewell to a Fellow Great FAMUAN and Soldier, May you rest in Peace.

LTC Porter was a great man and instructor, he had a big influence in my decision to join the U.S. Army my Sr. Year of high school. I don't think that my 20 year Army career would've as successful if I wasn't in JROTC program that he led so many years.
My thoughts and prayers goes out to his family.

Mule Bob, we will miss you dearly, my friend, my brother in Moledom. Rest and enjoy your eternal home with our Lord and many friends. When you see your Mule brother Henry, please give him a hug for me. I loved you dearly for you were always so loving to me. Mole Josephine, my prayers are with you and family in the loss of your loved one. Prayerfully, Mole Dr. Menia Speights and Mole Sonya Speights.

Col. Porter was a strong influence in my life and the primary reason for my decision to attend our Alma Mater Florida A&M University. He exemplified excellence and giving back to the community.
