I did not know until recently that your beloved Robert passed away. While I did not know him, his accomplishments made him the special person that he was. Bobby was with me when my daughter when she was borned, 27 years later he attended her wedding.
I had major heart surgery in December....A few days before he was ill, he called me in Arizona to say don't worry and take care of myself..
Bobby was a life long friend, not just a friend.
I remember when we were being recurited by UCONN, Central and Linclon University for track, I was excited, but Bobby kept the cool head and told me to listen to everyone's offer and do what's right...
