Nanette, Terry, Tyler, Travis & William:

My dearest friends, I am heart broken over the loss of your father and grandfather. Nanette, I am so glad that you got to spend so much time with your dad this last month. I know it did your dad's heart good to be able have such special visits with Terry and each of the boys. Know that your dad will be watching over all of the joyous occasions scheduled for the boys over the next several months.

Norm, Trey, Garrett and I love you all...

Bob,
You were always a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. You were truly one of a kind. Rest in Peace.

I know Bob only through the e-mails we exchanged when he sent me his story how he got started with Standard Fruit which came out in the April 2013 issue of The Aloha News. There was a funny story which I will publish in the July issue. He sent me an e-mail that he had cancer, but was OK -- gues it caught up with him when he wasn't looking. When I heard about his death, I thought "Oh no, not my funny friend." My condolences to the family.
