I was searching for my grandfather's obituary and came across this. This is his son, my mother's brother (Judith "Judy" Potter) I was unaware of his passing, but I just came back in contact not too long ago with my mother's side of the family. I am very sadden to see another Uncle of mine has passed before we could reunite. I only remember seeing him once at my mother's funeral, if I'm correct, but I was just a child. My husband and I were surprised when we got mail returned from Mr Potter. That got me worried and I searched the internet and saw he had passed away. We would talk several times a year also to stay in touch. We are so sorry to know that he has passed away. But at the same time we were honored to know him. My Sundays weren't complete until I saw him smiling in the pew with his best suits on. He was the best dresser I knew! He was a class act and always a gentleman. We are glad we had the...

Mr. Potter came to the Salvation Army Senior Center these last couple years from time to time. I always enjoyed conversing with Mr. Potter. I will miss him but I look forward to a reunion some day soon. My condolences to his family.

I was sorry to hear that Mr. Potter had passed away. I didn't get a chance to really know Mr. Potter that closely but the one thing we did have in common was our shared faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I met Mr. Potter through his daughter Robin and her mother Ella Mae Potter. In the short time I got to know him it was a true blessing to talk about the things of God and it gives me great comfort to know that he is safely in the arms of Jesus Christ in glory (heaven).
