What an honor to have known this man as my Pastor. He gave me a love of the Word of God and taught me how to truly study and preach. Grateful for the time at Grace Church of Mentor.

What a great mentor Bob was when I was growing up in the old Riverview Church.

Pastor Bob Potter was so instrumental in my salvation. God used him in a mighty way to save my soul and my best friend's soul as well who led me to Christ. Pastor Bob Potter will always have a special place in my heart because he truly cared about me being saved. I rejoice that he finally got to see our Saviour face to face and that I have that same promise as well.

The world has lost a spiritual giant; but our loss is Heaven's gain - what a grand entrance Pastor Bob must have made into the arms of his Lord and Savior, with the words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant..." ringing in the halls of Heaven! We were truly most abundantly blessed to have sat under his teaching for so many years and count it a privilege to have had him and Judy as our dearest friends. We will sorely miss him but are thankful that one day we will be reunited with them...

My heart is breaking to know that this world lost a faithful servant of God. Because of your devotion to our Savior and love for people, many of us have a home waiting for us in Heaven. This world will never be the same without you in it. But I'll bet Heaven is rejoicing to finally have you home. I can't wait to see you and that beautiful smile again someday. Thank you for your life and the legacy you left behind for us. We are all better off for knowing you, my dear Pastor. All my love to...

To Pasror Bob's family, we hurt with u in your loss. What an amazing entry we are sure he made into heaven. We still talk about the first time we visited Grace & felt like sponges soaking up the message he preached. We were suppose to visit churches to find a new church - well, we fell in love with the Grace family & the stand it took in God's word. That was 12 years ago. We so loved and admired pastor Bob - he will hold a special place in our hearts always. Much love & prayer to his family.
