Not sure what to say?

Our heartfelt condolences to Lisa, David, Sharon, Jon, Janet, John, Linda and Jim. Each of you played a very important part of his family which he loved and cherished so much. Bob and Carol were the most generous people and helping others was a significant part of their life. Their friendship was so cherished. May he rest in peace.

To Bob’s family, I am so sorry for your loss he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I had the honor to serve with Bob on the Caledonia school board as well as the project at Holy Family To Africa with love. Bob was one of the people behind the whole project. He donated the money so that I could travel to Africa to buy the tractor and equipment so that all the funds raised by the church could go for the purchase of all the things that they needed in Africa. Bob was like that he...

Bob was one of our favorite people. He did so much good for so many people and was always willing to do more. Our prayers are for all who loved him. May God comfort all who grieve.

Bob hired me as a summer intern from the Ferris HVAC program in 1985. He was a very warm and cheerful person to work with. He asked me to report to him weekly on what I had learned, enjoyed and less-enjoyed lol. As busy as he seemed, he always had time to chat, that usually ended up with some education in it for me. He was a gifted man, just like his good friend Gordy Kamstra.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family on your loss. What a great man and a wonderful friend and neighbor. It’s a loss for us but we can celebrate his life and all he did for others. He’ll be missed.
Warmly, Sue and Dave Wait

My thoughts and prayers are with Bob's family especially Lisa, Janet and John.

What a perfect gentleman and good friend we've lost. Bob was one of a kind and we are going to miss him terribly. We feel very fortunate to be able to count him as a close friend for over 20 years. He was a faithful Catholic and his whole life reflected his belief. He was ready to help anyone at a moments notice. We're confident that the Lord has already welcomed Bob into His heavenly kingdom.
