Not sure what to say?

Uncle Robert was a very special person. He had his own unique way of expressing himself. He was always the same every time I saw him - you knew what he was thinking - and he didn't mind telling you - if he liked something he told you, if he didn't like it - he told you - that was just "Uncle Robert" and we all loved him and miss him so very much.

Br. Robert was encouraging to be around and I loved to be there when the Lord blessed him. He always had time for a kind word and made my girls feel special. I remember being on the ventilator at the hospital and I came to and saw him and another brother there and he reached over and layed hands on me. So much I have forgetten, (about being in the hospital) but that was one of the few things that the Lord has allowed me to remember and it made Br. Robert special to my family and me.

Although I didn't know Robert that well, I always looked up to him and my aunt Lavina for being married for so many years. Every time I would see him at family reunions, he was always smiling and having a good time. When Lavina (Veener-as we used to call her) was ill, we had a get-together for her. Even at that dark moment, Robert was laughing, smiling and having a good time. I will miss your smile, Robert.

I heard a person say,It's not what you say you are it's what you are. He truly was. Kind, loving, caring,to sum it up a child of god. Victory was won,he finally obtained life, will miss him but I look forward to seeing him over yonder.

Uncle Robert was a special person.
I will never forget some of the stories Tony would tell me about things that happened at work. He was so comical, but he also cared deeply about people. If we had sickness or trouble, we could depend on Uncle Robert knocking on our door. I know he was only my uncle by marriage, but he showed me so much love that I feel like he was a blood relative. He will be greatly missed by our family and our church.

Although I only knew him for less than 10 years it didnt take but one day for him to become a friend. It is no doubt that as the hunting season arrives there will be many moments in the outdoors that a memory of him will bring a tear, a laugh or just a big grin to brothers, nephews and his friends. He will be missed by all
