I have fished Fall River since 1972 about the same time that Bob arrived. Se became good friends and when on always hilarious trips. He taught me flytying; he introduced me to the skills of Fall River fishing.

I just returned from fishing Fall River, and every inch of it remind me of Bob.

I met Bob when he was running the fly shop at Rick's Lodge (now Spinnerfall Lodge). He was my first guide on Fall River and he taught me a lot. Wish I had him at my side for the next 30 years I have fished there. I would have done better. And Bob would still have relished the cookies that my wife Judy packed for our lunch on those trips! My husband Garry and i knew Bob since his early days in Fall River and spent a lot of time with him while he was in oregon. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, my condolences go out to his family

Just returned from a week at Fish Camp on the Fall River. Many of us still share Bob's love of the Fall River.
